Testimonies

Would you like to hear about the schools from the mouths of some of the students? Here they are…

Erika from Brasil DTS 2011

“The school was an instrument that God used to change my life and the way I see and live life.  Through discipleship I changed a lot of attitudes that needed to be aligned with God, seeking to live in His truth by seeking the Holy Spirit constantly.  God surprised me every day and I know that He will surprise many more of those who have accepted the challenge as I did!”

Charlie from USA DTS 2010
“I am so grateful that I followed God’s leading and went to the DTS in Puerto Madryn. Growing up in a Christian family, I knew about God and believed in God, but the DTS helped me know God personally. The time I spent with YWAM challenged and stretched me, and through those challenges I grew in character and my relationship with God. I could not begin to tell all of the blessings I received at the base from my friends, the lessons, and the faculty. This DTS will bless you and teach you how to serve God on a new level.”

Tabita from  Romania DTS 2009

“So many times we do thinks but we don’t know exactly why do we do this? Why God asks us to do something which we don’t understand or we don’t like? Something that I learned in my DTS is that obedience means to go forward even if I want to look or go back.

The DTS for me was a time spent just with God, a time of rest in His presence. A time of learning, serving and letting God to change my life. I started to know Him as my father, my best friend, my Lord, my Savior and all this changed my view about who God is.
Something that is really strong in my heart is the week when I learned about forgiveness. I was so hurt by my parents, and I couldn’t forgive them. In that week of the DTS a learned that forgiveness means to declare this over my parents, but also that forgiveness is a process. When I realized this, I felt such a peace, and a release.
DTS is a place where you can take time for you, to know God better, to know you better, to process and to let God change you. DTS changed my life, forever.”

Victoria from Canada DTS 2007

“These 5 months of my life transformed the way I think, the way I live, my values and the way I see myself.  I was so bitter about Christianity, I didn’t believe that it was possible to LIVE OUT how Jesus lived.  DTS was a time to break thru my arguments and have truth flood into my mind.  I thank God for loving me and being patient with me in my discipleship times because He used my discipler to set me free and bring me to a new beginning in my life.  I would recommend this DTS to anyone who is tired of living the same old thing and hungers for something REAL.”

Maricruz

 Maricruz, El Salvador. DTS 2006

“I could know that God was more interested in my heart than in what I did and that He desires that we would be free so that we can help others to be free also.”

Paul Paul, Peru. DTS 2006“One time I was praying, asking God to embrace me and at that moment a child came up behind me and gave me a hug. I felt like God was really there in that moment and experienced a little of the love that He has for me.”

Marina

Marina, Brazil. DTS 2006“The school was extremely challenging and inspiring. It was a time where I came out of the center and let Jesus enter into there. It was challenging as during the five months there were days of knowing God more and making Him known to others. It was inspiring because each day I learned something new about God, to know what He wanted and to see how He was interested in me and for all mankind. I discovered that God relates to me each day in a new and surprising way.”
