Identity
What we want to do:
- Have a house for women at risk (in prostitution, suffered/ing abuse, single moms, etc.)
- Have a shop to sell clothes where these women can work and have their source of income
- Care for these women’s spiritual and physical wellbeing. Help them see the change that God can do and accompany them along the way.
Why?
- These women need to know God and receive His restoration, love, guidance, help, healing, and increase their self-esteem. Many of these women have no place of refuge and are looking for something in their lives that only God can give.
How will we do this?
- Working as a network.
- Making contact with these women so they can know us, building trust, and sharing with them what God has done for them and what He can do for them. We will advise the police as we’re heading out during the night hours.
- Inviting the women to the refuge house where they will have access to take classes similar to those we offer in the Discipleship Training School like identity, inner healing, born again, and workshops on sewing, art, and music.
- We will have events for fund raising such as: cat walks and clothes sales. This will build more awareness of this project.
- The shop will be used to finance the refuge house’s expenses and the women’s wages.
